[color=black][font=新宋体][color=black][font=新宋体][size=2]1973年出生的洛福斯温莱特（Rufus Wainwright）从小在加拿大蒙特利尔长大，双亲Loudon Wainwright和Kake Mcgarrigle都是民谣音乐界的杰出人物。他从小跟着母亲、阿姨、妹妹巡回表演，14岁时已获得加拿大朱诺音乐奖最具潜力新人奖，而同时他的单曲“I’m A-Runnin”也获得加拿大Genie奖（如同美国奥斯卡电影奖）最佳电影主题曲提名。Rufus Wainwright青少年时期醉心于歌剧，更视dith Piaf、Al Jolson、Judy Garland为偶像，后来他在纽约州求学期间，才把对古典乐的兴趣转移至流行和摇滚乐。Rufus Wainwright是个才华洋溢、不可多得的歌手和词曲创作者，1998年，以同名专辑《Rufus Wainwright》出道即被滚石杂志誉为最佳新进艺人，并且也被纽约时代杂志、娱乐周刊、纽约人杂志、洛杉机时代杂志、华盛顿邮报评定为该年度十大最佳专辑，1999年还获得加拿大朱诺音乐奖最佳另类专辑奖。2001年5月，他为电影《Shrek》原声带演唱了一首翻自Leonard Cohen的歌曲“Hallelujah”，即发行了专辑《Poses》，这张专辑以走精致、不落俗套、具大胆音速结构的流行音乐再度获得盛赞。接下来他开始了历时一年的巡回演唱，还和Tori Amos同场表演。在《断臂山》里面他也参与了创作，像King of the road等等。2003年，在金牌制作人Marius devries(Bjork、Madonna、David Bowie的御用制作人)统筹下打算推出类似双专辑的计划，第一张企划推出《Want One》，而后续的《Want Two》也计划再行推出。Rufus Wainwright在个人第三张专辑《Want One》中又用他擅于结合感官与环境的叙事文笔层次超越框架局限，因为他相信歌曲自己会说话，只要听者用心聆听，自然会知道他想阐述的意念。许多时髦风尚的开创者都称Rufus Wainwright是个技艺高超的出色艺人，也是新世代中最受期待的后续人选！[/size]
